As fans await Warner Bros TV series remake of the seven Harry Potter novels, an almost entirely different cast are about to debut in the latest set of audiobooks. Following on from Stephen Fry's iconic readings, the Full-Cast audio editions star Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore, Riz Ahmed as Snape, Matthew Macfadyen as Voldemort, James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody and Keira Knightley as Umbridge. Meanwhile, the new TV show's Hermione, Arabella Stanton, also voices the character in the first three audiobooks.

The official synopsis teases: "The beloved stories as you've never experienced them. Get ready to be transported to the world of Harry Potter in a captivating production that features hundreds of unique voices and immersive sound design that brings the wizarding world vividly to life in Dolby Atmos. You'll hear footsteps echoing through the corridors of Hogwarts and the heart-racing whoosh of the Golden Snitch as it darts past your ears in the heat of a Quidditch match. Also featuring an electrifying new musical score, The Full-Cast Audio Editions present JK Rowling's iconic series as a truly spellbinding listening event for the whole family."

The first of seven audiobooks is set to exclusively launch on Audible tonight at midnight, and the full list of release dates is featured below.
