Gill in cricket means Shubman Gill. Gill Saheb, who returned from Australia after playing the white ball series, is now busy in preparing a strategy to defeat South Africa in the Test. But, after her return to India, another Gill has made her debut in the Women's Big Bash League being played there in Australia. His name is Hasrat Gill. Just as Shubhman Gill comes from Punjab in India, similarly Hasrat Gill also has his village home in Punjab, India.

This is how Hasrat Gill, born in Punjab, reached Australia

Hasrat Gill was born in Amritsar, Punjab in the year 2005. Three years after his birth, i.e. in the year 2008, his father Gurpreet Singh Gill took the family to Australia and settled there. After this decision of his father, if anything related to India remained for Hasrat Gill, it remained just memories. Because in terms of cricket, she has now become an Australian player.

Hasrat Gill made debut in WBBL

Hasrat Gill started playing under age cricket in Australia. She was also selected in the women's team of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup last year. And, this season he has also made his debut in WBBL. Hasrat Gill made his Big Bash debut for Sydney Thunder. Hasrat Gill's parents were also present there during his debut in Big Bash.

Such was the performance in the first two matches

Hasrat Gill played his first match in Big Bash against Hobart Hurricanes on 9 November. Whereas he played the second match against Melbourne Renegades on 11 November. But in both these matches, neither Hasrat Gill's performance nor that of his team Sydney Thunder was that good.

In his first match, Hasrat Gill, apart from scoring 3 runs with the bat, gave 36 runs in 4 overs in bowling and did not take any wicket. In this match, Hobart Hurricanes defeated Sydney Thunder by 6 wickets. Even in the second match, Hasrat Gill could not score more than 3 runs. Whereas the bowling was even worse. He gave away 22 runs in 2 overs. Sydney Thunder won this match against Melbourne Renegades by 4 wickets.
