Ladli Behna Yojana Update (November 12, 2025): Bringing cheer to millions of women across Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has released the 30th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana, transferring ₹1,500 per month directly into the bank accounts of 1.26 crore beneficiaries. The announcement was made during an official ceremony held in Seoni district, marking another milestone in the state’s ongoing effort to empower women financially and socially.

The Ladli Behna Yojana—one of Madhya Pradesh’s most impactful welfare schemes—has witnessed a significant enhancement in recent months. Previously, beneficiaries received ₹1,250 per month, but the government has now increased the amount to ₹1,500 to provide greater financial stability.

This monthly financial support aims to help women manage essential household expenses, support children’s education, and start small businesses. The initiative reflects the state government’s continued commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive development.

According to official data, more than 2.68 lakh women in Seoni district have received direct financial transfers under the Ladli Behna scheme. The total amount disbursed in the district so far stands at an impressive ₹1,857 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that the scheme is not merely a cash benefit program but a broader mission aimed at providing economic opportunities and long-term empowerment for women across the state. He stated, “Empowered sisters are the foundation of a stronger Madhya Pradesh. Our goal is to ensure that every woman becomes self-reliant, educated, and confident.”
