Mona Singh is having a moment both on and off screen. As she charms audiences in Thode Door Thode Paas, her older work is suddenly back in the spotlight too, especially after The Ba***ds of Bollywood went viral again, with Aryan Khan’s reimagining of the iconic Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela track.

In a candid chat with CNN-News18 Showsha, Mona Singh opened up about the unforgettable day she asked Shah Rukh Khan to leave the set while shooting the song.

Mona also recalled a hilarious moment from the set when Shah Rukh Khan unexpectedly walked in during the shoot of Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela and she asked him to leave.

Mona shared a fun chat between them, saying, "Of course! He used to come to the sets. In fact, the day we were shooting Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela, he was there.”

“I remember saying, 'Sir, you cannot be here! I can’t do this in front of you.' He laughed and said, 'Mona, what do you mean? You have to be professional.' But I insisted, 'Not in front of you, please leave,'" she revealed.

Speaking about Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela’s sudden resurgence, she laughed about how her DMs exploded with fan edits and memes.

She said, "My DMs were overflowing with memes of Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela. That song went wild again, it was trending! My team even told me, 'Why don’t you use the song and post something?' I thought, okay, let’s go with the flow. I absolutely loved the response. It’s been very, very overwhelming."

The song also featured Bobby Deol, and in the song, Bhanu Khan's face was replaced digitally with that of Mona's.
