BPSC 71st PT Result: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results of the 71st Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination. 13,368 candidates qualified for the main examination. The results were released by the Commission's Examination Controller, Rajesh Kumar Singh. According to the notice, 893 candidates qualified for the Financial Administrative Officer position.

According to the Bihar Public Service Commission, the cut-off for the unreserved category is 88, for the EWS is 82.33, for the SC is 72, for the ST is 71.33, for the EBC is 81, and for the BC is 84. In the preliminary examination, 211 candidates scored above 100 marks, while the exam was of 150 marks.

More than three lakh candidates appeared for the exam. 3,16,905 candidates appeared for the 71st Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination. The exam was held on September 13, and 912 examination centers were set up in 37 districts of the state. This recruitment drive will fill 1,298 vacant posts. Successful candidates will now be able to appear for the main examination. This is likely to be organized in March 2026.
