The late actress Judy Garland from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’ had two daughters, Liza Minnelli and Lorna Luft , who both share a beautiful bond. They have managed to make a name for themselves in the industry and have succeeded on their own. Now, in a recent interview, Luft talks about her beloved sister and how connected they are with one another.
Lorna Luft talks about her sister Liza MinnelliWhile attending the Pierre Hotel’s Red Diamond 95th Anniversary Gala in NYC recently, Luft had nothing but good words for the bond she shares with her sister Minnelli. While talking to E! News about her, the famous actress and singer shared that since the two of them live miles apart, they have to stay connected mainly through the phone. She further added that they talk continuously and stay connected whenever they can.
She shared at the event, “She's great. She's in Los Angeles. We talk on the phone a lot, because I live back in New York. So, everything's really, really — she's great.”
Both of the sisters now tend to keep a low profile and stay away from the public eye as much as they can. Over the years, the two have made random and rare appearances at certain events. Minnelli was last spotted in public last month when she attended the Dancers Against Cancer Gala of the Stars event in LA. She was tasked with announcing the late Janet Jackson as the recipient of the Icon Award at the gala.
