A simple family and a down to earth childhood Justice Surya Kant was not born with a silver spoon. He was born in a very ordinary farming family in Hisar district of Haryana. His childhood was spent among the village trails and fields. This is the reason why even today the pain of the common man to the land is reflected in his thinking. How educated is the new CJI of the country? (Educational Qualification) We often think that to reach the Supreme Court, we need a foreign degree or expensive colleges in big cities. But Justice Surya Kant has broken this myth. Early education: He did his early education from a village school in Hisar. Graduation: In the year 1981, he completed his graduation from Government Post Graduate College, Hisar. Study of Law: After this, he did LLB from the famous Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU, Rohtak) of Rohtak in 1984. degree. That is, his entire education was done in the soil of Haryana only. It is an inspiration for lakhs of students who study in government colleges in small towns. Career Journey started from District Court. Soon after doing LLB, he started practicing law in the District Court of Hisar in 1984. Imagine, a lawyer who started his journey from a small district court, is today the head of the biggest court of the country. In 1985, he shifted to Chandigarh and started practicing in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. On the basis of his hard work and understanding of law, he became the youngest Advocate General of Haryana in the year 2000. This was a huge achievement in itself. Hope of the common man. Justice Surya Kant is considered an outspoken and public-friendly judge. From becoming a High Court judge to the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court and then becoming a Supreme Court judge – his every decision has been praiseworthy.
