Following the approval of the Bihar State Government Cabinet, recruitment for librarian positions in Bihar is expected to begin soon. Educational Qualifications for Librarian Positions
To apply for librarian positions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in library science with 45% marks. A 5% relaxation is given to reserved categories, disabled candidates, and women candidates, meaning candidates in these categories must have completed their graduation with 40% marks. Additionally, candidates must have passed the eligibility test.
Age Limit
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must be at least 21 years old. Under the new regulations, the maximum age limit for this recruitment will be relaxed by 10 years. According to the new rules, 35% of the total posts can be reserved for women.
