Haryana International Cricket Stadium: The state’s largest international cricket stadium is going to be built in Lohat village of Jhajjar district of Haryana. This stadium, to be built at a cost of Rs 222.20 crore, is being developed by Haryana Cricket Association. The work of its construction has been entrusted to Globe Civil Projects Limited. The construction work is to be completed in 24 months and currently the boundary wall work of the stadium has started.

The new stadium will have a seating capacity of 50 thousand spectators, making it the largest cricket stadium in Haryana. A total of 11 cricket pitches, 2 practice grounds, a modern cricket academy, hostels for players, massive parking facility, sports club and state-of-the-art gym will be provided here. This stadium is being built as per international standards so that big national and international matches can be hosted in future.

Flood lights will be installed for night matches and facilities like swimming pool, sauna bath, modern dressing rooms will be available for the players. Apart from this, 30 corporate boxes will also be created for spectators and corporate guests. With the completion of this big project, there will be a major increase in the sports infrastructure capacity of Haryana and cricket talents in the state will be able to get world class training facilities.
