Actor Akshay Singh, who stepped into the roles of producer and director with his film Pinky Beauty Parlour, expressed that this project represented much more than just a film for him. It was a manifestation of his creative vision and a bold risk he decided to embrace. Fortunately, this gamble proved successful as Pinky Beauty Parlour garnered significant attention at various film festivals, evolving into a rich experience where Akshay took on multiple roles, including that of the writer and lead actor.

Pinky Beauty Parlour has received numerous accolades, including being featured as the Closing Film at the Hawaii International Film Festival in the USA and the Ottawa Film Festival in Canada. It also had the honor of being the Opening Film at the prestigious SAARC International Film Festival in Sri Lanka. Additionally, the film earned a Special Mention at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, received a special recommendation at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI), and was awarded Special Jury Awards at both the Kerala and Rajasthan International Film Festivals, among others.
