What is the SIR process?
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list for 2025 is a special campaign by the Election Commission of India to completely update the voter list. This includes adding the names of newly 18-year-olds and removing those who have died or moved. Errors in name, address, and age are being corrected. If your name is incorrect or missing from the draft voter list, you can correct your name or add a new name by filling out the SIR form. The form requires you to fill in your name, address, and date of birth, and after verification, your correct details will be included in the new 2025 voter list.

You can seek help from the BLO.
If you live in these 12 states, quickly check the 2003 list. If you don't find your name, meet your area's Booth Level Officer (BLO). They are visiting door-to-door. They will have you fill out the SIR form. Failing to fill out this form could result in your name being removed from the voter list. So don't delay; check the list today and inform your family members.
