The second anniversary of Shri Ramlala Pran Pratistha in Ayodhya will be celebrated on 31 December 2025. Religious rituals will start from 27th December. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the programme.

Ayodhya. The second anniversary of the death of Lord Shri Ram Lalla in Ramnagari Ayodhya will be celebrated with reverence, grandeur and religious enthusiasm on 31 December 2025. The consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lalla took place on 22 January 2024, but its anniversary is celebrated as per the Hindu calendar. Under this tradition, the first anniversary was celebrated on 11 January 2025.

Religious rituals will start from December 27

The religious rituals on the occasion of the second anniversary will begin from 27 December 2025. The main ceremony will be held on 31 December 2025, while the worship rituals and other religious programs will continue till 2 January 2026. During this period, Ramnagari will be completely immersed in the atmosphere of devotion and faith.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest

The country's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will attend this historical and religious event as the chief guest. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also have a dignified presence in the program. Both the leaders will participate in major rituals organized at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

Worship rituals will be held under the supervision of Jagadguru Madhvacharya ji.

Cultural programs start from 29th December

As part of the series of events, cultural programs will start from December 29, 2025. These will include religious music, bhajans, kirtan and cultural presentations, which will provide spiritual experience to the devotees.

Special transportation arrangements for devotees

Keeping in mind the convenience and well-organized movement of the devotees, arrangements have been made to reach Angad Tila through Sugriv Path. With this, crowd management and darshan arrangements will be streamlined.

Defense Minister will hoist the flag at Maa Annapurna Temple

On December 31, 2025, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also hoist the flag at Maa Annapurna Temple located in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple complex. Along with this, he will participate in the Pratistha Dwadashi program as a special guest. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion.

Preparations in the final stage, elaborate arrangements to welcome the devotees

Gopal ji, who was involved in the arrangements of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, told in the meeting of the workers that all the preparations for the event are in the final stage. Extensive and systematic arrangements are being made for the welcome, security and facilities of the devotees coming from India and abroad, so that all the devotees can have darshan comfortably and safely.
