Bengaluru: Gilli Nata has won Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, fulfilling widespread expectations from viewers who supported him consistently from the beginning of the show. He secured the title with a record vote count of more than 37 crore votes, as announced during the grand finale.

Gilli Nata gained strong public support due to his conduct and presence inside the house, which remained steady throughout the season. The announcement of his victory led to celebrations in several parts of Karnataka.

A large number of fans gathered outside the Bigg Boss house to celebrate the win, expressing their happiness through slogans and dance.

Rakshitha Shetty emerged as the runner-up. Representing coastal Karnataka, she reached the finale in her first season on the show. Her performance and interaction with other contestants helped her gain significant viewer support.

Prize details

As the winner, Gilli Nata received a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh along with a new Maruti car. Rakshitha Shetty was awarded Rs 25 lakh as prize money for finishing as the runner-up.

Addressing the audience after his win, Gilli Nata thanked viewers for their continued support. His parents, who were present on the stage, also expressed gratitude to the public for supporting their son throughout the season.

Special award from host

In a first for Bigg Boss Kannada, host Kiccha Sudeep announced a personal cash award of Rs 10 lakh for Gilli Nata. The announcement was described as an unprecedented moment in the show’s history.
