During the interview, Nick revealed that Malti was born prematurely in January 2022. Nick recalled in an interview, “We were expecting her in April, but suddenly we got a call that she was born prematurely. When she was born, she weighed just 1 pound 11 ounces (about 765 grams) and was dark blue in color.”
He explained that it was a very difficult time for us (Nick and Priyanka) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Both worked 12-hour shifts at the hospital for three and a half months, both taking great care of Malti. Malati fought for her life every day and gradually recovered.
