The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration process for NCET 2026. Candidates wishing to apply for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) can now apply. They must visit the official NTA NCET website, exams.nta.nic.in/ncet. With the commencement of the application process, the deadline has also been announced. Students wishing to appear for NCET 2026 should apply.

When is the deadline?
The registration process has begun, and the deadline is March 10th. The last date for fee payment is March 11th, 2026. The portal will then be open for corrections from March 12th to March 14th, 2026. The exam will be held on April 17th, 2026.

Students appearing for NCET 2026 will be able to participate in the counseling and admission process for the academic session 2026-27 at central/state universities and institutions (such as IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges) that have been approved for NCTE's ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Program).

How to Apply

Visit the official NTA NCET website, exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.

Click on the NCET 2026 registration link available on the homepage.

A new page will open, where you will need to register by entering your details.

Click "Submit" and log in to your account.

Fill in the application form and pay the application fee.

Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Keep a hard copy of it for future reference.

Application Fee
NCET candidates must pay an application fee according to their category. The fee for the General category is ₹1,200. The fee for the OBC-NCL/EWS category is ₹1000. For SC, ST, and third gender categories, the fee is ₹650. Fees must be paid online only.
