Tesco Clubcard shoppers can double the value of their vouchers and get 5,000 bonus points with Virgin by making a simple change before May 10.

To bag the huge points bonus, shoppers simply need to swap their Tesco Clubcard points for Virgin points before the May deadline which will then give them access to an array of experiences with Virgin Red (Virgin's rewards club), including hotel stays, flights, cruises and VIP nights out. Shoppers must sign up to auto-exchange their Tesco Clubcard points into Virgin points for the first time by 11.59pm on May 10, 2026 and will be rewarded with a bonus 5,000 Virgin points. Clubcard points will then automatically be converted into Virgin Points with each quarterly Clubcard statement.

But the points bonus isn't the only incentive to sign up, as every Tesco Clubcard point is worth two points with Virgin, so shoppers can essentially double their points value. For example, when you turn 400 Clubcard points into Virgin Points, you'll get 800 Virgin points in return so it's an easy way to make your money go further.

Tesco Clubcard members can join Virgin Red for free and start collecting Virgin Points straight away to spend on various trips and treats. Clubcard members just need to log into Virgin Red and follow the instructions to sign up to auto-exchange.

Members must remain signed up to automatically exchange their Clubcard points into Virgin Points on May 10, 2026, and must have a minimum of 250 Clubcard points in their account to be able to activate the automatic exchange process.

Once signed up, Tesco Clubcard points will automatically be exchanged into Virgin Points four times a year and the bonus 5,000 Virgin Points will be awarded by June 14, 2026.
