New Delhi: Excitement builds for Yash and Kiara Advani’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups as makers drop the first single poster, Disaster. But fans are furious—Yash shines shirtless, carrying Kiara in a dramatic seaside hug, while her face stays hidden behind his shoulder.

Just like the teaser, promotional materials tease mystery but spark debates on why leading ladies remain “faceless.” Will Tabaahi reveal more, or keep the suspense?

Toxic Tabaahi poster sparks buzz

On Friday, the team behind Toxic unveiled the poster for its first single, Tabaahi, featuring Yash and Kiara Advani in a windswept seaside embrace. Yash appears shirtless, smoking a cigar while carrying Kiara in his arms, but her face is concealed behind his shoulder. The actors shared the poster on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans who noticed the pattern from the film’s earlier teaser.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic boasts a strong cast including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles. The film’s first glimpse came in January 2026, showcasing Yash’s intense character Raya in a 2-minute-52-second clip. A teaser followed this month, revealing Yash in two more looks, including his clean-shaven style after seven years—yet no female faces have appeared in promos except last year’s character posters.

Fans voice anger

Fans flooded social media with complaints, questioning the “faceless” treatment of actresses. One fan quipped on social media, “Will they ever show Kiara’s face, maybe not even in the film?” Another added, “How can you have five female leads and not show their faces in even one promotional material?”

Anger grew sharper online. A Redditor complained, “What’s with this stupidity of using the woman as a prop? No face.. no identity .. just a body huh?!” Another echoed, “Bro is the only one who is in teaser and in all posters i don’t know why they cast so many actresses.” These reactions highlight frustration over promotional choices amid high anticipation.

Release clash ahead

Toxic hits theatres on March 19, 2026, clashing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. As Yash’s pan-India stardom post-KGF grows, the film’s fairy tale for grown-ups promises action and intrigue. Will Tabahi’s full release calm fans or fuel more debate? Stay tuned for the song drop.
