According to The StarLeung, 47, stepped behind a food stall counter while promoting “Mama, Not Again!” which made debut during the Lunar New Year earlier this month.

Videos circulating on social media showed him adding eggs, beans and shrimp to a wok while carefully stir-frying the dish.

The actor appeared focused as he held the wok in one hand and skillfully maneuvered a spatula with the other. At one point, he joked with the crowd, saying: “Actors aren’t always busy, so when there’s nothing to film, I’ll help out at restaurants.”

While some online commenters teased that the eggs looked slightly overcooked and dry, many viewers praised Leung for embracing the challenge and interacting with fans.

Leung was previously signed with Hong Kong broadcaster TVB from 2004 to 2019. Beyond acting, he also co-runs a luxury car dealership in Shenzhen with Carina Zhang, the wife of actor and singer Raymond Lam, specializing in high-end brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce, according to Channel News Asia.
