It's always exciting to spot a new variety of your favourite food product, whether it's sweets, snacks, or even yoghurt. B&Mshoppers have now spotted a new flavour of Haribo sweets that will have people feel nostalgic.
We all have our favourite Haribosweet – whether its sour Tangfastics or the delicious cherriesfrom Starmix packets. But if you venture out of your comfort zone, there's a chance you'll find something new and exciting that might even become a new favourite. The German confectionery company often releases new and exciting products for fans to enjoy, and now seem to have listed to demands for one new flavour.
Taking to social media, user ''New Food Spotter UK' to share the new flavour of Haribo sweets that has been spotted in B&M all across the UK.
"NEW @haribouki_ RHUBARB & CUSTARD ROLLS NOW IN @bm_stores," they wrote on the post.
In the photo, a hand is seen holding up the pink and yellow Haribo bag, adored with the famous Haribo bear with a red bow around his neck.
The sweets inside the bag look identical to the nostalgic sweets that many will remember, with some pink rolls having a yellow filling, and the yellow rolls having a pink filling.
As for flavour, they are described to have a bold and tangy rhubarb flavour, that mixes perfectly with the smooth vanilla creaminess from the custard - just like when you have the two components together in a dessert.
While the post didn't share the price of the share bag of sweets, the B&M lists the 140g bag of sweets for just £1, making for a great sweet to stock up on for Easter - or just for the sweets cupboard.
Many Haribo fans will remember the rhubarb and custard sweets from their youth, as it was a fan favourite before the flavour got discontinued by the brand.
It since made a comeback in other sweets bag, such as in the Soopa-Hoopla ice cream flavoured mix in 2024, as well as in the Nostalgix range, which is inspired by classic and nostalgic flavours, such as Rhubarb and Custard, Pear Drops, Pineapple Cubes and Cola Cubes.
But now, fans are hopeful the rhubarb and custard flavoured sweets are here to stay for longer, as some people took to the comment section of the post to share their excitement.
"Lovely I want some," one person commented, while another user excitedly claimed: "ITS ABOUT TIME !!!!"
It comes after two other Haribo shoppers were left baffled bythe contents of their £11.95 mystery bag from the sweets shop, as they were left speechless by what they got in the bag.
