BARC JRF Recruitment 2026: The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has announced the opening of applications for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the year 2026. This initiative presents an excellent opportunity for aspiring scientists and researchers in India. A total of 105 candidates will be chosen across various scientific, engineering, and life sciences disciplines. Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Required Qualifications:
Candidates interested in applying for the BARC JRF 2026 must hold an M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc., B.S.-M.S. (Dual Degree), or a B.S. degree in a relevant field such as science, engineering, or life sciences, which is essential for conducting research.


National Level Eligibility Requirements

Examination Scores:
Additionally, applicants must possess a valid score from a recognized national-level examination or fellowship. Acceptable scores include: UGC-CSIR NET Fellowship, JEST, ICMR-JRF Test, ICAR-JRF Test, DBT-JRF (Biotechnology) Eligibility Test, or GATE (Physics/Chemistry/Life Sciences/Biotechnology). Only those meeting these criteria will be eligible for interview selection.


Application Fee Details

Fee Structure:
To apply, candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹500. Payment options include net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI, ensuring a secure and straightforward process.

Exemptions from the fee are available for SC/ST, PwBD, and female candidates as per applicable regulations. It is important to note that applications will not be accepted if the fee is not paid after generating an application number.
