New Delhi [India], March 19 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on Wednesday and discussed the evolving situation in West Asia and regional stability, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at an inter-ministerial briefing here.
"Yesterday, our Prime Minister spoke with the Crown Prince of Kuwait. The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving situation in West Asia and shared their concerns over recent developments," he said.
"Prime Minister reiterated India's condemnation of attacks on Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also underlined ensuring safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz as a priority for us," he added.
Jaiswal said that both leaders agreed that sustained diplomatic engagement remains essential for regional peace and stability.
The Prime Minister also thanked the Crown Prince for his continued support for the safety and well-being of our community in Kuwait.
He also conveyed his greetings for the upcoming festival of Eid to the Crown Prince.
Meanwhile, C. Senthil Rajan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, urged consumers to remain cautious about fraudulent messages circulating on social media related to LNG services.
"I want to request all LNG consumers, please be aware of social media fraud because false messages pop up through various social media platforms, so please don't believe those messages. If you feel, please complain to the police," Rajan said. (ANI)
