The central government is making efforts to bring villagers into the banking system. A scheme was launched by the Central Government on 24 April 2021 which was named Swamitva Yojana. The main objective behind bringing this scheme is to give rights to those land owners who do not have any paper. This scheme is more useful especially for populated lands. If your house is built on a residential land and you do not have its documents, then the government will not only give you ownership rights through the ownership scheme but you can also take a loan on it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute cards to the beneficiaries of this scheme on January 18.

Before knowing about this scheme, it is important for us to know the land area of the population. Abadi is that land which is not owned by anyone. Therefore, this land remains fallow or vacant in villages. Some people also build houses on these lands. The house is built, but they do not have its documents. In such a situation, now the government is mapping those lands and providing a card so that if you need a loan in between, you can get it by showing the property card. After showing your property card, even banks will not hesitate in giving you a loan.

The government has launched this scheme in 6 states of India. These are pilot project states. At present this scheme is applicable in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand while the process of implementing this scheme is going on in other states also. The card that will be provided to the villagers for this scheme will be available from the state government there. The government will use drones and satellites for accurate mapping of properties.

What are the benefits of this scheme?

Talking about the benefits of this scheme, the villagers who do not have any legal documents for their land will get ownership of the land from the government. Apart from this, updated details of the property of the villagers will also be available with the government. Which she can use whenever and wherever she wants. After the village lands are mapped and cards are made, the villagers will get relief from the land mafia. At the same time, land related disputes will also reduce.

Under this scheme, the ownership of the lands has to be given to their rightful owners. Which he can also use to take loan. Earlier it was generally seen that banks did not give loans to those who did not have any land registration or documents. In such a situation, they had to face financial problems, but once your ownership card is made, then the banks will have no hesitation in giving you a loan.

How to apply online?

If you want to take advantage of this scheme then you will have to go to Egramswaraj (https://egramswaraj.gov.in/) portal. Here you have to click on the option of New Register. After this you can apply for making the card using this site.

However, if you are living in a village then you will have to meet your accountant directly. An application for this will have to be submitted to the Accountant, after which the process will start. The accountant will forward your application to his superiors and then as soon as the order comes, drone mapping and other processes will start. If the information and claims given by you are correct then you will get the ownership card.
