Jayne Torvill and have been dance partners on the ice for decades and in recent years they work together to judge the contestants taking part in . The also often don their ice skates once more to put on a spectacular show in each series of the programme.

With their chemistry in the rink being electrifying, fans also wonder if there is ever a spark between them romantically - despite the fact that Jayne has been married to husband Phil Christensen since 1990, and Christopher was married twice in the past and has been in a relationship with fellow Dancing On Ice coach since 2011.

While they have been in relationships with other people, Jayne, 67, and Christopher, 66, have admitted to locking lips a couple of times in the past. Jayne told the back in 2007 that they were "very close".

She went on to admit that they had kissed in the past as young teens, but Christopher explained: "Never with tongues."

In another interview with , she admitted: "We did actually kiss once - before we were a skating couple. We were in the back of the bus going to a league match, and it just happened.

"It was a one-off. We never talked about it afterwards. We laugh about it now."

However, Chris once admitted that his first wife, Isabelle Duchesnay, was jealous of his bond with Jayne.

After their divorce, Isabelle reportedly said: "I felt that he had two women in his life. Because his work was more important, that automatically made Jayne more important because she was his work."

Christopher has said that he does "love" Jayne, but clarified their relationship is purely platonic. He said: "There is still a romance, though.

"I love Jayne. But in a passionate friend way. When couples dance together, it's very intimate; you spend a lot of time together, it's close, it's physical."

He also humorously notes that his friendship with Jayne has outlasted any of his marriages.
