On Monday (January 20), fans from all over the globe tuned in to watch Donald Trump's inaguration into the White House.

The political leader was surrounded with many famous faces incluing Kid Rock, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to name a few as he took over from Democratic leader Joe Biden.

Throughout the historic event, fans couldn't help but take to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their thoughts on many of the star-studded guests in attendance.

Yet, one famous face forced viewers to do a double take was the former Amazon founder's fiancee Lauren Sanchez, 55, as they walked out to the stands to support the former business mogul on his big day.

The news ancor was seen wearing a white blazer and trousers which she layered on top of a lacy corset as she proudly walked beside her future husband. But who is the billionaire's bride to be? Let's take a deep dive inside her life and their whirlwind romance.

Lauren first made a name for herself as an entertainment reporter on Extra and the local US news program Good Day L.A from 2011 to 2017.

In 2005, she became te original host for the dace competition series So You Think You Can Dance, but left the show after just one season to welcome her second child. She also appeared as a guest co-host on The View.

The mother-of-three is no stranger to the big screen, and has also featured in several films such as The Longest Yard, The Day After Tomorrow, Fight Club and Ted 2.

On top of being a news anchor and a film star, Sanchez also specialises in aeiral filming and served as a consultant on Christopher Nolan's period blockbuster Dunkirk, according to The Reporter.

She told the publication: "I had my job, I had a career, and then I found a calling. I loved entertainment and I loved filming, and so I got to combine all of it."

The TV personality earned her helicopter pilot's license in June 2016 and created Black Ops Aviation - an aerial film and production company. She told the outlet that she regularly flies with her children, admitting: "I want to be in a helicopter all the time.

"Life can be so chaotic with so much going on. Lift off and youre in an energy space that no one else is in. It's calming. When I'm up there, I'm completely satisfied. I'm like, 'This is where I need to be'."

The polit was also hired to film aerial shots for Bezos' company Blue Origin, accoring to . She also recently worked as an aerial producer in Catherine Hardwicke's film Miss Bala starring Gina Rodriguez.

But the broadcaster reached new heights when she was first romantically linked to the business mogul in 2019.Their romance came months after he announced his divorce from wife of 25 years, Mackenzie Bezos.

At the start of their relationship, the TV presenter was also divorcing her husband of 13 years, Patrick Whitesell - one of 's most powerful agents. Four years after they publicly started dating, Bezos proposed to Sanchez, a source confirmed to People magazine.

The two love birds were spotted on vacation together in the South of France where they were enjoying time on the billionaire's $500m (£407million) yacht where the brunette beauty was seen sporting a ring on her finger.

The yacht features a sculpture of Sanchez on the prow that includes the symbol for Koru, which symbolises new beginnings and positive change in a new phase of live.

The insider told the publication: "Her friends are thrilled Jeff finally popped the question. They have been talking about it for a long time. All of her firends say this is her dream come true.

"She found the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and they felt the time was right. He has all the money in the world and what was missing was someone to share it with and everybody on both sides is very happy."

Sanchez is currently planning the couple's nuptials. During an appearance on the show back in November 2024, she said she's "just like every other bride" with her growing Pinterest boards.

The couple both share a passion to fight climate change, and even met King Charles about the growing problem back in 2021. She shared some snaps of the couple with the King in addition to one of the businessman on his own.

She captioned the post: "I snapped this photo during a brief walk," adding that it was "a reminder of how the natural world is so stunning and beautiful, and that we must do out part to protect it."

In 2022, she also travelled with Bezos to Colombia's Chiribiquete National Park to learn about local deforestation in light of the work undertaken by the Bezos Earth Fund to support conservation groups in the area.
