A haven for outdoor enthusiasts, Croyde's coastline has become renowned as a surfing destination, even rivalling the popular Cornish destination of Newquay.

While there are plenty of surfing schools for those with little to no surfing experience, those who are nervous about taking part in this thrill-seeking activity can instead opt for body-boarding, another popular pastime at Croyde Bay.

And it's not just surfers who have something to get excited about in Croyde, with plenty of scenic walks or cycling routes on offer along South West Coast Path.

One highlight along this route is Baggy Point, which offers visitors panoramic views of the Atlantic and a chance to explore the area's diverse wildlife.

For foodies, the village of Croyde boasts an array of tasty options from traditional pubs, sports bars, and brunch locations. And for those visiting between April and November, then be sure to Croyde's Ice Cream Parlour which is perfect for those looking for a sweet treat.
