Recently also there was news that an income tax raid has been conducted at the house of Game Changer producer Dil Raju. Apart from this, the houses of the CEO of Maitri Movie Makers and other members of the company were also raided. Actually, Allu Arjun's film has done a business of Rs 1801 crore worldwide.
Income Tax Department has raided the house of 'Pushpa 2' director Sukumar. Officials have confirmed that the tax has not been paid as per the collection made by the film. Apart from this, bank transactions of Maitri Movie Makers are also being investigated. Besides, the houses of many other film stars are also being raided.
Those whose houses have been raided by the Income Tax Department recently include Game Changer producer Dil Raju, Shirish and his daughter. Raids have also been conducted in the offices of Maitri Movie Makers and Mango Media. According to the collection, the house of Pushpa 2 director Sukumar has also been raided for non-payment of taxes.
Pushpa 2 has been made with a huge budget of Rs 500 crore. A recent report revealed that Sukumar has charged around Rs 15 crore for the film. The picture has earned Rs 1800 crore from all over the world. 48 days have been completed since the film was released. Today is the 49th day and the picture is still earning well. Rs 1229.40 crore has been printed from India alone.
