The Income Tax (I-T) authorities searched the offices of Mango Media, Mythri Movies, and film producer Dil Raju on Wednesday for the second consecutive day.

The goal of the raids was to find out where the money for high-profile movies like Ram Charan and Venkatesh came from. Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, was released on January 10; Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh, was released on January 14.

The searches were started Tuesday morning by the I-T officials and members of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). They looked into Dil Raju’s lockers and his Banjara Hills production company, Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The offices of Mango Media and Mythri Movies, the production company of the popular Pushpa-2, were also searched. Director Sukumar was taken straight to his office by IT authorities for document checks when he landed at the Hyderabad airport.

Because of the high reported profits from their films during the Sankranti festival, the IT department is looking into these filmmakers.
