Denting a car can also be a stressful and costly mistake, with repairs costing drivers £335.

With many Brits still watching the pennies, are being given a helping hand by supermarket which is launching its must-have range for drivers.

Landing in stores from 30 January, the range includes Aldi's dent repair kit for just £6.99, meaning car owners can DIY a repair and still have change from £10.

The repair kit is simple to use with easy-to-follow instructions.

Aldi claims it can straighten out bodywork in seconds and can be used to repair minor dents and bumps on both flat and curved panels. The kit includes nine accessories providing shoppers with everything they need to make their car look as good as new.

Aldi's middle aisle has other wallet-friendly offerings for drivers this month.

Shoppers can pick up Aldi's car organiser assortment for £7.99, which features multiple compartments and pockets for a neatly organised car. There are also versatile and durable universal car carpet mats for £4.99.

Aldi is also selling a jump starter power bank for £29.99. The power bank charges devices as well as features a jump-start function, ensuring drivers are always ready for long journeys.

For more minor mishaps drivers can save money on punctures with Aldi's tyre puncture sealant can at £2.99while those who are especially safety conscious can snap up an anti-theft car key pouch for £3.99.
