Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput continue to be one of Bollywood’s most admired couples. Their adorable social media posts and candid revelations about relationships and family never fail to impress their fans. Recently, Shahid revealed an interesting conversation with his wife about his film ' Jab We Met ', where she compared him to his on-screen character, Aditya Kashyap.

During an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Shahid was asked about the genre of films Mira enjoys watching. He shared that she holds Jab We Met close to her heart but had one major observation—her husband is nothing like the character he played. Recalling the moment, Shahid shared Mira’s statement: "I thought you were like Aditya; tu toh 5 percent bhi nahi nikla." In response, he humorously pointed out, "Be happy Kabir Singh bhi main 5% nahi nikla." He called it a fair deal for them.

Shahid Kapoor Schools On 'Indirect Question', Gives Fiery Reaction To Attack On Saif Ali Khan

'Jab We Met', directed by Imtiaz Ali , featured Shahid portraying Aditya, a reserved and heartbroken businessman who undergoes a transformation upon meeting Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character, Geet. The 2007 film remains a fan favourite, with Aditya’s romantic and caring nature continuing to win hearts.

In contrast, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 'Kabir Singh', released in 2019, presented Shahid in an entirely different light. His role as a self-destructive and aggressive lover in the film stirred controversy yet proved to be a massive box-office success.

On the work front, Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of Deva, an action-packed thriller where he shares the screen with Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait. Helmed by Rosshan Andrrews , the film is set to hit theatres on January 31.
