Pocket Mein Aasmaan is an adaptation of the popular Bengali TV serial Tomader Rani and brings an emotionally charged story on national television for a Hindi-speaking audience. The plot follows Rani, portrayed by Abhika Malakar, a pregnant woman who is determined to pursue her medical studies despite facing resistance from her family, particularly her husband, Digvijay. Rani’s journey is one of self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment as she struggles to prove that women can balance their professional and personal lives.
The series focuses on Rani’s indomitable spirit and her refusal to conform to societal expectations. Her husband, Digvijay, questions her ability to juggle pregnancy, household responsibilities, and rigorous medical studies. The conflict within the household forms the crux of the story while highlighting the broader societal stereotypes surrounding women, especially pregnant women, and their ability to achieve their dreams.
The show also features actors like Shweta Tiwari , Pradyuman Mishra, Aishani Yadav, and Siddharth Vakil among others.
