It's been 13 years since the beloved Valleys drama, Stella, first graced our TV screens.

The popular comedy-drama, filmed in the Rhondda valleys, was broadcast on One from 2012 to 2017. It was the brainchild of David Peet and 's , who also starred as the titular character, Stella.

If your memory needs jogging, the storyline revolved around the ups and downs of a hard-pressed mum-of-three living in the fictional Welsh town of Pontyberry. One character you might recall is Luke Morgan.

Portrayed by actor Craig Gallivan, Luke was Stella's eldest son and a pivotal character in the show. His coming-of-age journey after leaving prison in the first series was a key plotline, and viewers watched his life unfold through various highs and lows.

While many may remember the actor for his role in Stella, he's undergone quite a transformation since then. Since the show wrapped up nearly a decade ago, he's had a diverse career.

He's appeared in Footballers Wives and Footballers' Wives: Extra Time, and has made waves in the of musical theatre.

From 2018 to 2019, he played Dewey in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical School of Rock. Since 2021, he's also been playing Olaf in 's Frozen in the West End. Yes, our very own Luke has gone on to portray one of the most adored fictional characters ever - at least, on stage.

Craig's is a visual diary of his journey. He shares pictures of himself on stage where he looks utterly unrecognisable as Olaf. It's hard to connect the dots that this is the same boy from Pontyberry who has achieved such stellar success post-Stella.

Back in September, he dropped hints of his return to screen work with snaps of filming for the and, at the start of this year, he excitedly revealed an upcoming project for 2025.

Craig's next big gig is Hercules on Stage, gearing up to hit the West End come June. He's a regular on social media, blessing fans with behind-the-scenes glimpses and evidently loving his theatrical journey.

Back in July, he shared an emotional message when he celebrated his landmark 100th performance in Frozen's stage show. At the time, he said: "Tonight, alongside my long suffering dressing room buddy Lord Frame, will be my 1000th performance of Frozen.

"From the very first audition in autumn 2019 to be standing here now 2024 it has been an experience of a lifetime and a genuine honour. Thanks to my mate @richard_frame for making each day so much fun and for lifting me up when I'm running low.

"I've belly laughed every day, learned so much, and made friends for life. How fitting that we reach this milestone together on the same day. This one's for you Dickie."
