shared some exciting news away from her role on .

The meteorologist, 62, was "so pleased" to announce that fans can access a great new deal for her book, Secrets of the Villa Amore, which was released last year.

The BBC presenter shared that the deal will last for the whole of February and will be the perfect read for Valentines Day.

Taking to X, she wrote: "I'm so pleased to let you know that Secrets of the Villa Amore has been selected for a Kindle Monthly Deal (KMD) and will be priced at 99p for the entire month of February. Great news ahead of Valentine's Day!!"

Secrets of The Villa Amore made the Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller list, but left Carol suffering the effects of lack of sleep.

In an interview on Chris Evans' Virgin Radio Breakfast Show last year, Carol confessed: "I try to be asleep at 8pm! I'm constantly suffering from sleep deprivation.

Her need for sleep sets her apart from the characters she's invented in her novel, which is set on the picturesque Amalfi Coast, and has an extremely lively storyline.

"The story follows two wine-producing families [whose] lives are intertwined," Carol explained, revealing that the siblings from each family are expected to have a fairytale marriage but that not all goes to plan.

"Everyone has been invited [to the wedding] from glamorous starlets to the mafia, but both families have secrets that could ruin lives and ruin relationships as well," she teased.

Carol's new update comes after , Meet Me At Sunset.

"I'm delighted to share that I have a new novel coming this summer called #MeetMeAtSunset. Lies, seduction and secrets all await under a Spanish sun... Available to pre-order," she wrote on X.

This will be Carol's fifth novel, after Once Upon a Time in Venice, The Hotel on Riveria, One Last Letter from Greece and Secrets of the Villa Amore.

Carol, who has been the main weather presenter on for more than 20 years, explained how she first got into writing professionally, telling The Sunday Post: "I thought I'd like to try my hand at fiction. Better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all. And that's how I got into it. I loved it. I'd forgotten the passion I had for it."
