The Masked Singer UK star Grayson Perry has revealed he let slip his identity after being rumbled by a friend.
The British artist was revealed to be the face behind Kingfisher on Saturday (February 1) night, after receiving the lowest votes from the audience.
Following his elimination, Grayson appeared on on Monday (February 3), where he discussed his time on the singing competition.
During the interview, the star told hosts and that his daughter had correctly guessed his identity after coming across a video of his performance online.
"A couple of people, my wife knew, my sister knew. My daughter guessed because her girlfriend in the middle of the night was scrolling and came across it, she knew from karaoke whose voice that was," he said.
Cat then pointed out that Grayson had lasted longer than several professional singers in the competition, including 90s pop star Macy Gray and T'Pau's Carol Decker.
"You must be proud," she said, to which Grayson replied: "I am, but I'm also under no illusion that it's a singing contest."
Viewers were shocked to learn that Grayson was behind the mask, as many had confidently guessed that Harry Hill was the true identity of Kingfisher.
"I was playing that up massively because I know Harry Hill. I was playing, it's fun, it's a game! I thought I'd play the role of being a TV comedian!" the star said after his unmasking.
The latest episode of The Masked Singer featured a double elimination, with Irish singer Andrea Corr also being unveiled as Snail - leaving the judges speechless.
"It was brilliant. It was amazing. I was looking forward to singing the other songs but listen, I've had such a good time. It's been such a joy to do," she told The After Mask.
Now, only five characters remain - Bear, Bush, Dressed Crab, Pufferfish and Wolf.
The anticipated semi-final will air this Saturday (February 8) at 7pm on ITV1, with Richard E Grant joining the judging panel as Mo Gilligan goes on tour.
