Following the Central Government’s approval of an interest-free financing of Rs 100 crore for the ‘Ram Kal Path’ project, the Nashik Municipal Corporation is scheduled to hire a consultant. As the only qualifying business, Gujarat-based firm ‘HCP’ emerged from the tough selection procedure. The ‘Ram Kal Path’ project is expected to be awarded to HCP because of its vast experience, which includes consulting on the Baba Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi.
On Wednesday (6), HCP representatives gave the Commissioner a presentation on their portfolio. Construction of the grandiose ‘Ram Kal Path’ is planned in the Ramkund and Godaghat regions before to the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
The Municipal Corporation’s City Engineer, Sanjay Agarwal, highlighted the project area’s spiritual value, which includes Godakath, Kalaram Temple, and Sita Cave. The goal of the ‘Ram Kal Path’ project is to create a spiritual corridor with sculptures that draw inspiration from the Ramayana.
HCP was chosen because of its excellent consulting work on the Sabarmati River Front and Baba Vishwanath Corridor projects. Having been the only remaining participant after another Gujarat-based business was eliminated during the procurement process, HCP is well-positioned to design and implement the ‘Ram Kal Path’ project.
