The police have arrested the accused of ruthless murder of five people of the same family three months ago in Bhelupur police station area of ​​Banaras. Since the incident, the main accused Vishal Gupta alias Vicky was absconding. The police has now arrested him with his brother Prashant alias Jugnu. Both brothers were standing near Sirgovardhan's Lautubir temple and talking.

The two brothers had planned their uncle Rajendra Gupta and his entire family in a planned manner to avenge the murder of their parents and grandfather. The accused said during the police interrogation that in 1997 his parents and grandfather were killed. This incident was carried out by his uncle Rajendra Gupta. Even after this incident, both those brothers were kept as servants.

Conspiracy to murder was hatched two years ago

Just two years ago, Rajendra and his elder son were beaten up brutally and kept in the house for several days. According to the main accused Vishal, the same day the two brothers decided that uncle and his family would have to end. After this, he bought weapons and mobile SIM cards from Bihar and then saw the opportunity three months ago. The main accused said that on the night of 4-5 November 2024, he killed uncle Rajendra Gupta. After this, he came home and shot his wife Neetu, his son Navnendu and Shubhendu, and daughter Gaurangi.

Accused running from Kolkata to Mumbai

During the interrogation of the police, the accused told that after the incident, he ran away and reached Mughalsarai station and from there reached Patna. From there he returned to Banaras after visiting Kolkata and Mumbai. The accused said that during this time he never stopped in the hotel for fear of being caught, but he used to sleep at the station at night. During this time, he was in touch with his brother Prashant through fake ID and used to ask for money according to his need.

Police: If you were hated with uncle, then why kill aunt and siblings?

Huge: You are asking why kill aunt and brother -in -law? "This aunt Neetu and sister Gaurangi used to incite uncle and cousin Navandu". From the very beginning, these people were assaulting him, his brother Prashant and real sister Dolly, he would be silent thinking that everything would be alright slowly. But now those people were intent on eradicating their existence.

Police: Aunt and sister continued to instigate and Navendu used to beat this, it is understood. But why was it hated by sixteen years old?

Huge: He had told me many times and Prashant that after a few years I will shoot both of you. It was most important to kill him. Sixteen years old was more dangerous than uncle and Namnendra.

Police: Where did we get the weapon?

Huge: Bought two thirty -two bore pistols and two magazines from Bihar. Five sim was also done from there.

Police: Where and how did you go after the murder?

Huge: After executing the murder, Mughalsarai reached and from there to Patna. Used to stay at the railway station itself because there was a fear of being caught in the hotel. From there, he also ran in many other cities including Kolkata and Mumbai.

Police: Where did you get money to eat and drink?

Huge: By creating two fake IDs, Prashant alias Jugnu was in contact through Messenger. Two fake IDs were created in the name of Vaishali and Vikas. Mughalsarai and Banaras also came twice to get money.
