Mathura. A young man came to Mathura in UP from Delhi happily to become a saint. After coming to Mathura, he started living in an ashram in Barsana. The young man was very young, but he wanted to become a sanyasi by renouncing the worldly pleasures of life. After this, he started living in the ashram and doing all the work that was necessary to become a sanyasi. But one day a monk of the ashram locked him in a room. Actually, a youth from Delhi, who was staying in an ashram in Barsana to take sanyas, was raped by the Mahant of the ashram itself. When the victim tried to escape, he was taken hostage. The police have so far registered a report of the entire case only as a case of assault. The victim has appealed to the Senior Superintendent of Police for justice.
The victim is a resident of Delhi. Recently, he met a sadhu in Delhi, whose name is Nishant alias Nand Gopal and he is the Mahant of Mahal Vrindavan Bhajan Kutir Radha Nagari in Barsana. The youth alleges that Nishant alias Nand Gopal brought him to Barsana to make him take sanyas and started keeping him in Mahal Vrindavan Bhajan Kutir Barsana.
Here when the head Mahant of Bhajan Kutir Radha Mohan Das left the ashram on January 12, Nishant alias Nand Gopal raped her and when she tried to escape, he held her hostage in a room. The youth alleges that Nishant alias Nand Gopal also makes young men eunuchs and he wanted to make him eunuch too. The victim pleaded to the Senior Superintendent of Police for justice on Thursday. He told that the police have registered the entire case only under assault, the police have not registered any case under the sections of rape.
