Have you ever heard of the 'Borderless Hindu Country'? The Global Country of World Peace (GCWP) is a fictional country founded on 7 October 2000 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. His goal is to bring together peaceful and harmonious individuals from around the world regardless of borders or differences. Tony Nader, a neurologist, is currently leading the country. It is known as a "Borderless Hindu Country" i.e. a country that is beyond geographical boundaries.

What is the Global Country of World Peace?

It is not a real country recognized by the United Nations (UN). It was established with the aim of creating an ideal society based on spiritual and Vedic principles. Its main objective is to spread peace, meditation and Vedic knowledge. It also has its own laws, currency (Raham currency), flag and head of state.

Key features of this "Borderless Hindu Country"

It has no geographical area or boundary. People living in any corner of the world can join this ideology. The first leader of this country was Tony Nader, who was given the title of "Maharishi Adhiraj Raja Ram". This country has its own currency called "Raam Currency". It was used as an alternative currency in the Netherlands and some other countries.

Its flag is adorned with Vedic symbols. The national anthem is based on Vedic mantras. It has major centres in America, Netherlands and Switzerland. It also has followers in India, especially among the followers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

The purpose of this country 

The aim of this country is to bring peace to humanity through meditation and yoga. Along with this, Vedic education and natural lifestyle are promoted. It is an ideological and spiritual nation, whose aim is to promote world peace. It is not recognized as an official country by the United Nations or any international organization. Why is it recognized?

Criticism of the Global Country of World Peace

Some people consider it just a fictitious idea. Economically and politically it is not a recognized country. Its currency (Raha) is accepted in very few places. There is said to be a spiritual and business model behind it. It is not present on any map, but its followers are spread all over the world and are promoting the ideas of meditation and yoga of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
