Tragic Incident in Churu, Rajasthan:

A horrifying incident from Churu district, Rajasthan, has left a family in shock and grief. A camel, purchased by a farmer to support his family, turned on its owner, killing him in just 10 seconds. The camel crushed the man’s head like a watermelon using its powerful jaws, flung him into the air multiple times, and then slammed him to the ground.

The victim, Ramlal, died on the spot, leaving his family devastated. The camel has since been tied to a tree, and the family is preparing to take drastic action against the animal.

Background:

Ramlal, a resident of Ajitsar village in Sardarshahar tehsil, had purchased the camel a month ago to earn a livelihood. Using the camel cart, he worked as a laborer to feed his family, which includes his wife and three children.

The incident occurred when Ramlal was trying to harness the camel to the cart. Witnesses say the camel suddenly became enraged, pushed Ramlal to the ground, and clamped his head in its jaws. Despite his screams, the attack lasted only a few seconds, and Ramlal succumbed instantly as his skull was crushed.

Family Refuses to Keep the Camel:

After the attack, family members struggled to subdue the camel, which remained seated near Ramlal’s body for some time before being tied to a khejri tree. The family has decided not to keep the camel, calling it a “murderer,” and they are now planning to kill the animal.

Similar Incident in Bikaner:

This incident is eerily similar to one that took place five months ago in Bikaner. A father of four was killed by his camel in a similar manner, when the animal grabbed his neck and caused fatal injuries. Enraged family members beat the camel to death using sticks.

Experts on Camel Behavior:

Animal handlers state that camels, despite their otherwise calm demeanor, can become uncontrollably aggressive when angered. Their strength and size make it nearly impossible to restrain them during such episodes. There have been multiple cases of fatalities caused by camel attacks in Rajasthan, leaving many questioning how to manage these sensitive animals safely.

This tragic event sheds light on the dangers associated with handling camels and the risks faced by rural families who depend on these animals for their livelihood.
