Recently, this Malayalam actor said Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth cannot act and tagged them as ‘stylised actors’.

The Indian film industry has produced some of the finest actors, one of them are Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. Both the actors are considered legends in their respective industries. However, the audience got to see the two legendary actors sharing the screen in the action drama ‘Vettaiyan’. Before this the duo collaborated together on big screen 33 years ago in the blockbuster film Hum released in 1991. Recently an actor who comes from a regional film industry pointed out that neither Big B or Rajini knew acting.

The actor were are talking about is Alencier Ley Lopez, who comes from Malayalam film industry. The actor has featured in iconic films like Annayum Rasoolum, Ustad Hotel, Take Off, Moothon, Salute and many others. Alencier had also worked with Amitabh and Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan. The actor recently made a shocking statement that Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan don’t know how to act, not only that he further criticised their “stylised acting.”

During one of his upcoming film Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal, Alencier Ley Lopez recalled his experience working in Vettaiyan. While talking to the media, the Malayalam actor highlighted that he wasn’t paid a single penny when he was called for a single shoot in Mumbai with Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. He said, “I was sent a flight ticket to Mumbai and they gave me accommodation at a five-star hotel. I just had to sit there as a judge for one shot and opposite me, on either sides were Amitabh Bachchan sir and Rajinikanth sir (sic).”

Alencier further revealed how both the actors prefer doing stylised form of acting, “During my pre-degree days, I have seen Rajini sir stopping the whirring blades of a helicopter with his bare teeth. So, I wanted to see how he acts in front of the camera. During the Vettaiyan shoot, I saw him perform his stylised form of acting, his body language, and walking out of the courtroom. Then, Amitabh Bachchan would roar like a lion, and I have to act shocked after all this. I realised I couldn’t compete with them because I didn’t know enough stylised acting nor do I have a deep baritone. All I can do is perform in films made by the likes of Dileesh Pothan, Sharan Venugopal and Rajeev Ravi. Also, I realised that they cannot act,” said the Malayalam actor.
