New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has started the online applications for the recruitment of Junior Court Assistant today, February 5. Candidates can fill out the SCI Junior Court Assistant recruitment 2025 application form through the official website, sci.gov.in. The last date to fill out the application form is March 8, 2025.

The SCI Junior Court Assistant application fee is Rs 1,000 for the general and Other Backward Class (OBC) category candidates. The Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen, differently abled, freedom fighter category candidates need to pay Rs 250 as the application fee.

Candidate must upload the scanned copy of the recent photograph, signature and requisite documents in the online application form. The application once submitted cannot be withdrawn or modified. Through this recruitment drive of the Supreme Court of India, a total of 241 posts of Junior Court Assistants will be filled.

SCI Junior Court Assistant recruitment eligibility criteria

Those who meet the below criteria can apply for the Junior Court Assistant post-

  • Qualification- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • Age Limit- Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as of March 8, 2025.
  • Knowledge of Computer- A minimum speed of 35 words per minute (wpm) in English typing on a computer and knowledge of computer operation is required.

SCI Junior Court Assistant selection process

As per the SCI Junior Court Assistant recruitment selection process candidates need to appear for a written test. The test includes both objective and descriptive question. Candidates also need to appear for a typing test after the written exam. The objective and descriptive exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours each.  The typing test will be for 10 minutes.

After the objective, descriptive and typinf test candidates will be called for the interview round after which the final result for the selection will be made.
