MP Board Exam 2025: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has decided to make a big change in the 10th, 12th examinations. The practice of complementary or supplementary examination is being abolished in MP Board examination. But this does not mean at all that one year of the students who fail in MP Board examination will be wasted. MP Board will now give a chance to the students who fail in 10th, 12th examination to take the exam again.

New Education Policy 2020 is being implemented across the country (New Education Policy 2020). Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has also taken this decision under the New Education Policy 2020. The final result of the students will be prepared only after the second examination is done (MP Board 10, 12 Exam 2025). This rule will be applicable from the examination of academic session 2024-25. The model of board examination twice a year has also been implemented in Gujarat and Chhattisgarh.

What used to happen till now?

Students who failed one subject of the MP Board exam used to get a chance to take supplementary exams under the 'Ruk Jana Nahi' scheme of the State Open Board. But now, with the implementation of the new education policy, students who failed in many subjects will also be able to take the exam again. This exam will be held in July. In 2024, about 2.20 lakh students got supplementary in the MP Board 10th 12th examination, and 5.60 lakh students failed. The Board of Secondary Education has sent a proposal to the government. A final decision will be taken on this soon.

Lakhs of students will benefit.

One year of students who failed in more than one subject in the MP Board exam was wasted. They were not allowed to take supplementary exams. But through the new model of the MP Board exam, students who failed in more than two subjects will also be able to take the second exam to be held in July. Even if the student gets low marks in MP Board exam, he can take the exam of all the subjects again. This initiative of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will improve the future of lakhs of students.
