According to a report, there are 61 private hospitals in Delhi where financially weak people can get their treatment done for free.

All these hospitals are built on government land, so as per the order of the Supreme Court, they have orders to provide 10 percent IPD and 25 percent OPD free of cost.
The Delhi High Court had said in an order dated 15 November 2002 that these hospitals would have to provide free treatment to economically weaker people. Many hospitals opposed it, but the jurist approached the Supreme Court in 2018 regarding this.
However, now the Ayushman Yojana is also run by the government, under which eligible people get free treatment of Rs 5 lakh.
