Actor Prateek Babbar got married on Friday on Valentine's Day. He tied the knot with his girlfriend Priya Banerjee at his late mother Smita Patil's home in Mumbai. Priya Banerjee's family and Smita Patil's family were present at the wedding. The Babbar family was not invited to this wedding. Prateek's half -brother Arya Babbar also expressed displeasure over this. Now Prateek's wife Priya Banerjee has broken her silence for not calling the Babbar family in the wedding.

Priya Banerjee said in an interview, “Our wedding day was exactly the same as we dreamed of getting married. This day was very special and private. That day, people whom we love the most were under the same roof. We got married in Rock Cliff, this is the house of Prateek's mother, the most special thing is to marry there. He bought this house for the symbol, so that he could stay with him, but unfortunately it did not happen. We feel that this is the gift given to us from them, they wanted our marriage to be in this house and we did the same.

Prateek's father senior actor and political leader Raj Babbar and Babbar family were not present at the wedding. Priya Banerjee has commented on this. No family member was missing at the wedding function. I do not know why rumors of family members not attending the wedding are spreading. Our family and the aunt of the symbol, who raised him, were all present in his maternal grandparents. No one was absent from our family.

Prateek is the son of actor Babbar, actor Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil. After Smita's death, she was raised by her maternal uncle. This is Prateik's second marriage. Earlier, she had arranged marriage from Sanya Sagar, but after some time both of them got divorced. After divorce, Sanya kept distance from the film industry.
