The Uttar Pradesh government has released a new excise policy. This has seen changes in many things. In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, changes have been made like running a composite shop of indigenous liquor and beer and selling both things on the same license. Under such new excise policy 2025-26, beer and wine will also be available in all restaurants and cafes of Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra and Lucknow.

A new category of low-alcohol bar has been started. Due to this, the owners of restaurants and cafe will be able to serve beer and wine to their customers, that too without taking any full -time license. This will greatly benefit the restaurant owners. Because where earlier we had to spend 10-15 lakh rupees to serve alcohol. That work will now be done for just 4 lakh rupees.

When will the new excise policy be implemented

Restaurant and cafe owners will be able to get a license to serve beer and wine for Rs 4 lakh. This will greatly benefit the owners. The new excise policy will be applicable from March 1, 2025. Its rules will also be released soon. Therefore, the owners of the restaurants of Noida and Ghaziabad are very happy welcoming the new excise policy. The move was also described by Varun Khera, president of the National Restaurant Association of India.

Now beer and wine allowed

Chairman Varun Khera said that due to high license costs, the owners used to shy away from taking licenses many times, but now the restaurant business will increase after beer and wine permission. In Sector 104 and 132 of Noida, the owner of Alma Bakery & Cafe said that we had to get very expensive license for private parties earlier, but now we will be able to serve beer and wine to our customers every day. Similarly, the owner of many restaurants has welcomed the new excise policy.
