Dry and itchy skin (pruritus) is the most common symptom of kidney failure, severe dryness and itching, which is often caused by increased urea in blood flow. This causes skin irritation and itching can also cause white lines.

Yellow skin (uramic frost) kidney failure causes a condition called uromia, which accumulates waste products in the blood. This can make the skin color yellow. In severe cases, uremic frost (crystallization of urea and other waste products) can also occur on the skin.

Calcium accumulating under the skin may accumulate calcium in the skin of some individuals. If this deposition comes out, there may be many problems on the skin.

Changes in the nail may be brittle, colorless, or white straps (muurke lines) from kidney failure. This is often caused by severe kidney disease.
