According to Koimoi, Vicky charged Rs 10 crore for Chhaava. Notably, it represents 7% of the film's budget. The remuneration for this film is comparable to his last film, Bad Newsz, but less than URI: The Surgical Strike, for which he got Rs 12 crore.

What did other actors earn from the film? 

The actress portrayed Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale, wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Rashmika charged Rs 4 crore for this film. Akshaye Khanna played Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, who reportedly paid Rs 2.5 crore, which is almost five times less than Vicky's pay.

Other supporting cast members, such as Ashutosh Rana, earned Rs 80 lakhs for playing Hambirrao Mohite, and Divya Dutta received Rs 45 lakh for her part as Rajmata Soyarabai Bhosale.

The historical action drama opened to a box office of Rs 31 crore. After four days of release, the film grossed Rs 140.50 crore. 

According to sources, Chhaava was made with a budget of Rs 130 crore. Following its theatrical debut, the film will be available on the OTT behemoth Netflix. The date will be announced following the successful theatrical run.
