The second phase examinations of regular and carry-over subjects of odd semester undergraduate and post-graduation of academic session 2024-25 were to be held from February 18. Centers were set up across the state for this. But given the crowd and diversion of roads during Maha Kumbh (Mahakumbh Mela Traffic) and Shivratri (Shivratri 2025 Date), the colleges of Varanasi and Prayagraj had requested to postpone the examinations. After this, the university postponed the examination of all subjects.

When will the exam be held now?

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University's Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajiv Kumar has issued a notice to all the directors and principals and informed them about the revised exam schedule. Now the exams will be held between 28 February and 11 March 2025. Due to the crowd of devotees in Mahakumbh and Shivratri, the directors and principals of the respective districts demanded to reschedule the exam. AKTU administration has taken this decision after understanding this problem.

Practical exams will be held in the scheduled schedule

According to the Controller of Examinations, due to traffic being affected, students have to face problems in coming and going to the examination center. Various affiliated institutions had requested to extend the exam date. That is why the schedule has been changed. The practical and project examinations of the second phase of the odd semester will be held between 20 and 27 February. These exams are held in the student's college. There is no need to travel to any center for these. That is why this time the practical exams will be held first, which were scheduled to be held after the examination.
