The case of Atala Mosque of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh has started to heat up again. Till now the matter was going on inside the court, but now in this case the petitioner has started getting threats to kill him outside the court. In this regard, the petitioner had earlier pleaded for security from the DM-SP of Jaunpur, but if no action was taken, the victim applied in the High Court. Now the High Court has ordered the security of the victim to the DM of Jaunpur.
Let us know that the Atala Mosque of Jaunpur was originally claiming to be a temple, Santosh Mishra, state president of Swaraj Vahini Sangathan, approached the court. It was alleged that earlier it was the Atala temple. People of Muslim society broke the idols in this temple and made a tomb here. On this basis, Santosh Mishra has demanded the court to conduct a survey of the disputed Atala Mosque. However, after the notice of the court, the Muslim side opposed the application and demanded that the petition be dismissed.
Along with this, Waqf Atala i.e. Muslim side has also filed a monitoring petition. At the same time, the Hindu side has demanded to dismiss it. Currently, the hearing of this case is pending in the court of ADJ Fourth. Hearing in this case was also held on Tuesday. In this, the Muslim side argued that the case of Varship Act is pending in the Supreme Court. Therefore, the matter should be heard only after the decision of the Supreme Court. However, the court has fixed the date of April 15 for hearing in this case.
Meanwhile, many people have threatened to kill the petitioner. The victim had complained to the SP and DM in this regard, but no action was taken. After this, the victim pleaded for security in the High Court. Said that the accused are intimidating him to retreat from the trial. They are threatening to kill him for not leaving the case.
