Six portals have been launched in Jharkhand to streamline the functioning of universities and colleges. Regarding this, the CM of the state has also shared a post on X.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday launched six new portals, taking an important step in the field of higher and technical education in the state. Through these portals, administrative work in universities and colleges will be made smooth and transparent. Along with this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Innovation Center at Ranchi Science Center and also unveiled the model of the proposed Ranchi University Campus and Science City.

New direction to higher education

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on this occasion that Jharkhand is moving towards a new direction in the field of higher education. He wrote on the social media platform 'X', we are working towards making higher education modern and simple. These online facilities have been started to make the functioning of all universities and colleges under the Higher and Technical Education Department accessible through digital medium.

Six new portals will bring transparency in administrative work

These six portals launched by the state government will improve the administrative and academic work of universities and colleges. With the help of these portals, many facilities will be available online to teachers and students, which will make the education system more effective and transparent.

Teaching Management System

New Campus of Ranchi University and Construction of Science City

On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren also unveiled the model of the new building of Ranchi University. According to the government release, the new state-of-the-art campus of the university will be developed at Chedi on 87 acres of land. It will cost Rs 1,100 crore and this campus will provide world-class education facilities to 30,000 students.

Along with this, the state government has planned to upgrade the Regional Science Center in Ranchi to Science City. Rs 270 crore will be spent on this project and it will be developed in 25 acres of land. Its construction will promote scientific tourism and create a new learning center for students.

Initiative to give new heights to education in the state

This step of the Jharkhand government is being seen as a significant reform in the education sector of the state.

With the introduction of digital portals and the construction of a new educational campus, students and teachers will get the benefit of modern facilities. This will not only strengthen the education system but will also encourage research and innovation.
