The night journey of Saint Premanand Maharaj has started once again at Vrindavan Dham in Mathura, after which there has been a wave of happiness among the devotees. Earlier this journey was opposed by the residents of NRI Green Colony, due to which Saint Premanand Maharaj had to stop this journey. However, now after the residents of NRI Society demanded to resume, Sant Premanand Maharaj has decided to resume his night journey. With the resumption of this journey, there has been an atmosphere of happiness and gaiety among the devotees coming from all over the country. During this time thousands of devotees gathered to see Saint Premanand Maharaj.
The night journey of Sant Premanand Maharaj was first opposed by the residents of NRI Green Colony. He said that late night fireworks and noise during the yatra used to harass him. The DM of Mathura was also met on this issue, after which Sant Premanand Maharaj decided that he did not want to trouble Brajwasis in any way and temporarily shut down the journey.
However, there was an atmosphere of disappointment among the devotees coming from all over the country due to the closure of the yatra. Sant Premanand Maharaj said that he did not want to give any kind of trouble to the Brajwasis, but when he heard that people were saddened by the closure of the journey, they met the residents of NRI Green Colony. And decided to resume the journey. During this time he also clarified that he was only opposing the noise of fireworks, not against the journey.
Sant Premanand Maharaj's night journey started from NRI Green Colony on Monday night and reached Kelikunj Ashram. During this time, thousands of devotees visited Sant Maharaj and became a part of the yatra chanting Radha with him. Devotees said that the journey of Saint Premanand Maharaj is a source of joy and peace for him, which helps in his spiritual progress.
